Madison Lands LLC was formed in 2004 to develop smart growth, unique rural communities in Central Iowa. Based on a long term relationship in the area Madison Lands understands key issues surrounding the growth of a small community and the importance of maintaining a unique identity and character, while meeting the opportunity for growth and new development. We are also committed to the ideas that design of a new community can is an opportunity to provide a comprehensive solution for better homes. Architecture that is viewed as a process allows for more creative solutions and project value. The ability to work beyond conventional boundaries enables design to anticipate and integrate key issues.

Madison County is an area that is undergoing transformation, however, its short-term value of available and accessible land is in the process of eroding its long-term value of a unique, traditional community and natural resource of land. We are committed to the idea that these seemingly competitive agendas can be address in a single solution. The process of developing a new kind of rural community and the investigations into community identity and development are on-going.
